Inspired by the suggestion “eating with the eyes,” Eat me is a reflection on the making of the observed body.

The soft forms of the two dancers outline the curves of abstract postures: memories from the topos of the lying female portrait and everyday gestures draw images of a progressive emancipation from the floor, remaining unabashedly frontal but concealed.

Eat me stems from a research that explores the invisible between bodies: eros, gaze and desire.

This scenic achievement flirts with the voyeurism of the performative, and wishes to raise questions about the politics of being observed, sexualized female identity, and the sense of “feelingseenness” related to the vulnerability of the stage.
