Event was born out of a desire to convey an experience of the body without any filter. The driving force is the lightning-fast exchange of information between the two dancers: rhythmic tempos respond to a visual impulse and the geometry of space changes repeatedly. The union of identities generates bodily actions that explore “every form of being present,” unhinging the mechanism into unpredictable acts to other places through material or metaphysical suggestions. Human relationships are shared experiences interwoven with memories. The relationship between the performers, their understanding, expresses the courage to live fully and openly the uniqueness of an unrepeatable bond, to share it.
