This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you about how Associazione Culturale Nexus uses personal data, and what information about users of our websites, online applications, or mobile platforms is collected and assessed, and subsequently used, transmitted to third parties, or otherwise processed.

This Privacy Policy applies to associazioneculturalenexus.org and simonabertozzi.it. It does not apply to online services operated by third parties.

Pursuant to Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679, Associazione Culturale Nexus informs you that the personal data collected will be processed in compliance with the above-mentioned legislation; in relation to such processing, Associazione Culturale Nexus provides the following information:

Personal Data Collected

As a rule, the disclosure of personal data is not required to use our online services. If personal data (name, postal address, or email address) is collected within the scope of our online services, this is done, wherever possible, on a voluntary basis.

The personal data collected, subject to your free and express consent, relates exclusively to identification data (for example: first name, last name, address, telephone number, fax, email, etc.).

For reasons of data security and in order to optimize ease of use, we also collect non-personal data (browser, operating system, number of visits, etc.). Such data collected automatically is not associated with data from other sources.

Data Controller and Data Processor

The Data Controller is Associazione Culturale Nexus. The role of Data Processor has been assigned to Dott. Marcello Briguglio, whom the data subject may contact by writing to: trattamentodatipersonali@associazioneculturalenexus.org.

Purposes and Methods of Processing

In principle, the personal data provided by the user is processed and used exclusively for the following specified purposes:

• Provision, improvement, and support of our online services: including data analysis, identification of usage trends, as well as calculations and statistics on user access patterns.
• Newsletter mailing: we use the data to verify ownership of the email address and consent. The data will be stored for 2 years after the last contact.
• Job application: the data (CV, contact details) will be retained for a maximum of three years for any future consideration.
• Data cleaning and consolidation: comparison with existing records or other lawful sources.

The data will be processed in paper, computerized, and electronic form. Appropriate security measures have been adopted to protect the rights of the data subject pursuant to Art. 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

Possible Recipients of the Data

Depending on the type of interaction requested (e.g. newsletter or information), the data may be shared with third parties for the performance of the service.

Data Retention Period

The data will be retained for historical or statistical purposes for a period compliant with current legislation (usually 10 years). Beyond this period, the data will be anonymized or destroyed.

Rights of Data Subjects

You have the right to request information in writing about your data, to correct it, erase it, or restrict its processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Right to Withdraw Consent

If the processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

The controller informs the data subject that they have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).

Possible Existence of Automated Decision-Making

There is no automated decision-making process on this website, including profiling.

MailChimp

The newsletter is managed through MailChimp. The data is stored on their servers and processed according to their privacy policy. It is possible to unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of the emails.

Data Security

Associazione Culturale Nexus applies security measures to ensure the integrity of personal information. However, transmission over the Internet can never be considered 100% secure from third-party intrusion.
